CPS Test — Clicks Per Second

Click the box as fast as you can for the full duration. Your score is clicks divided by seconds, timed precisely in the browser.

Test area

The timer only starts once you click the box — take your time getting ready.

What this actually tests

This measures raw click throughput over a fixed window — how many "click" events your browser receives divided by the seconds elapsed. It's a decent proxy for mouse responsiveness and clicking technique (jitter-clicking vs. butterfly-clicking vs. normal), but it can't distinguish a fast human from software that automates clicks — a suspiciously high, perfectly even score is usually the tell.

Getting a more accurate score

  1. Use your normal grip and clicking technique — jitter-clicking will score much higher than a standard click.
  2. Run it 3-4 times; the first attempt is often lower while you find your rhythm.
  3. A wired mouse and a browser without heavy background tabs open will read slightly more accurately than a laggy setup.
